Evelyn (Melissa George), a burlesque queen bewitches single dad, Al (Ewen Leslie) and his teenage son, Fin (Ed Oxenbould). As they compete for her affections, old wounds are reopened over the death of Fin’s mother.
Lewis (Christiaan Van Vuuren) and Freya (Adele Vuko) are trying to do the two hardest things on the planet- raise a family, and survive the post-apocalypse. They’re battling the cute and cuddly horrors of early parenthood alongside the ACTUAL hours of metal-clad gangs, ravenous zombies, disfigured mutants, cannibals, dehydration, disease and starvation. Over and Out is about the highs and lows of parenting, maintaining your sanity and relationship whilst facing the harsh brutality of a planet that’s been all but destroyed.
The path to success is laden with paranoia, arguments, accusations, insecurity, stubbornness, and drunken apologies - exactly the same as the path to friendship.
